magnolia trees never cease to amaze me. they look totally unspectacular all year round and suddenly, within a few weeks, thousands of lush and fragrant blossoms flourish - each one the size of my hand! isn’t it fascinating how the tree channels the sun’s energy to create such an ocean of flowers - seemingly out of nowhere?
